My GeniusWhat do you think when you hear the word Genius? Well as I came across a book call "Awakening Genius" by Thomas Armstrong, I realize what a genius really is. As I read the book I came across the 12 qualities of a genius which are curiosity, playfulness, imagination, creativity, wonder, wisdom, inventiveness, vitality, sensitivity, flexibility, humor, and joy. All of these words put together make up a true genius and what the meaning of really being one. The word genius mean "giving birth to the joy in learning," which mean everyone can be a genius. It all about what I can process and can`t process. According to "Awakening Genius" every student is a genius so yes everyone has their own set of genius in them. In reality for one to be consider a true genius every "individual must score above the upper 99th percentile on a standardized measure of intelligence to qualify." Do I think I`m a genius? I think I am a genius because I have creativity and wisdom and at time I can have a lot of curiosity. I use my creativity in different ways like when am doing a project I brain storm my ideas and turn them into something creative and also, very productive.I have wisdom because am alway determine to catch on to thing and try to make something of nothing. Curiosity? I have so many thing am curious of at time like when their a problem I don`t understand I get so into that I get curious what might be the solution that I try my hardest to understand and do.I am a genius in my own way because I have I combine a little bit of everything and turn it into something productive.
